Immunology Symposium – Blood Centers of Wisconsin
This symposium focuses on the most current advances in B cell biology and in understanding of broadly neutralizing antibodies (bnAbs). Particular emphasis will be placed on many new aspects of the mechanisms underlying B cell development and the latest breakthroughs in the generation and characterization of broadly neutralizing antibodies against the highly antigenically diverse viruses, such as the HIV, influenza virus, et al. The symposium will help students, postdocs, investigators and clinicians to better understand the mechanisms by which these bnAbs are generated and how they provide protections and generate new ideas for designing vaccines that elicit protective antibodies.
