A 1:1 mixture of fresh frozen human HEK293T and mouse NIH3T3 cells, obtained by 10x Genomics from ATCC, was used in a classic experiment to demonstrate single cell behavior.

Gene Expression libraries were generated as described in the Chromium GEM-X Single Cell 3' Reagent Kits v4 User Guide (CG000731) and sequenced on an Illumina NovaSeq 6000 with approximately 50,000 read pairs per cell.
