The Visium CytAssist Spatial Gene and Protein Expression workflow assays RNA levels and protein detection in intact formalin-fixed paraffin embedded (FFPE) tissue sections. It uses probes targeting the human whole transcriptome and oligonucleotide conjugated antibodies for detecting immune cell protein markers. Each Visium CytAssist Spatial Gene Expression Slide contains Capture Areas with barcoded spots that include oligonucleotides required to capture gene expression probes and antibody tags.
