Sentira Single Cell runs on 10x Cloud Credits. 10x Cloud Credits are a single unit you use for everything you do in the application — running analyses, storing data, and downloading results.
10x Cloud Credits are prepaid measures of entitlement to access and use certain 10x cloud-based software services. A 10x Cloud Credit is the unit you use across all paid activities in Sentira.
10x Cloud Credits are consumed by the following types of activity:
- Compute: Running an analysis workflow on a sample.
- Storage: All of the inputs and outputs in your Sentira Single Cell account consume 10x Cloud Credits per GB on a monthly basis.
- Download (egress): Downloading your files from the 10x Cloud.
A positive 10x Cloud Credit balance is required to upload data or run analyses. If your balance reaches zero, you will not be able to upload new datasets, start new analysis workflows, or download files that consume 10x Cloud Credits until your balance is topped up with promotional or purchased 10x Cloud Credits. Many output files are small enough that their download consumes zero 10x Cloud Credits, so those will still be downloadable.
Storage continues to consume 10x Cloud Credits while your balance is zero or negative. Unpaid negative balances are handled as set out in the 10x Genomics Cloud Services Terms.
You can find your 10x Cloud Credit consumption report under Account > Settings > Billing and Usage > Credits.
You do not need to purchase 10x Cloud Credits to get started. Each Sentira Single Cell account is currently eligible for a one-time grant of 100 10x Cloud Credits when you first upload data. These 10x Cloud Credits are not tied to any purchase, have no cash value, are non-transferable, expire as stated to the recipient at the time of grant, and may be revoked at 10x's discretion. When you upload a sample, you accept these grant conditions. This is a one-time grant per account. Subsequent uploads do not trigger additional grants. Promotional 10x Cloud Credit packs will be labeled in the billing section of your 10x Cloud account.
The table below shows the 10x Cloud Credits consumed by each paid action. The amounts shown below are estimates and the actual consumption depends on your usage. These 10x Cloud Credit amounts are current at the time of publication and are subject to change.

Your actual 10x Cloud Credit usage will vary with the size of your experiments and complexity of your prompts.
For example, we estimate an average of 60 10x Cloud Credits consumed to analyze a multi-sample Chromium experiment of fewer than 500,000 cells, from upload to experimental conclusions. This estimate assumes five agentic analysis sessions, 12 months of storage, and two full output downloads. Real experimental usage will vary.
10x Cloud Credit packs can be purchased from the 10x Store. You will need a 10x Store account to log in.
Purchased 10x Cloud Credits expire 12 months after activation, are non-transferable, and are non-refundable.
